    Eben Moglen Software and Community in the Early 21st Century

      One of the best presentations on the I have seen was given by Eben Moglen at the Plone Conference in 2006, It touches the challenges and possibility’s that face both community and software. It shows a great understanding of history and vision of the evolution of the future.

      I love the concept of “the Mathematics Sellers” and the “Transportation” he uses to begin the presentation from a common point of understanding.

      Challenges World Wide

        Just finished a meeting with Eoghan Mackie from Challenges World Wide, where we were discussing the development of some CSR offerings to Support Challenges.         Big Issue Foundation

          Real Corporate Social Responsibility

            Over the last few years I have had involvement in product development some in the growing area of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) products. At first glance and in reality many people take CSR as a joke or something that they pay lip service to just to tick boxs in tenders and on promotional material. You can see this in almost all cases because of the lack of of relevance and connection between the company (and its individuals) and the cause.
